In-Betweener

Her upcoming EP, "In-Betweener" (releasing end of April 2024), delves into the complexities of existing in liminal spaces. Born from a period of personal transition as the artist navigated the shift from childhood to adulthood, these four songs capture the bittersweet uncertainty of life's pivotal moments.

The title track, "In-betweener”, grapples with the complexities of a multi-cultural identity. For the Desi-American artist, the question of "home" shimmers with ambiguity - is it India? America? Or a fragmented blend of both?

"Guilty Pleasures" explores the hazy intoxication of limerence and fleeting crushes, another state of emotional in-between.

The existential ache of "Peruse The Lives" resonates with the struggle to find purpose and define one's path.

Finally, "Delilah" dissects the paradoxical figure of the femme fatale, exposing society's tangled relationship with female power.

This EP promises a potent blend of introspection and cultural commentary, inviting listeners to inhabit their own "in-between" moments with raw honesty.

Madwoman

Her debut EP, "Madwoman," showcases a fierce independent spirit. This three-song collection was written, arranged, produced, recorded, and performed entirely by the artist, working from a mic in her dad's basement. The title "Madwoman" celebrates the audacious drive required to pursue this project on her own – a testament to her strength as a woman in the arts, a young artist, and a member of an immigrant Desi family where entertainment careers defy expectations. The songs weave themes of identity, artistry, and womanhood together with the rich textures of eastern melodies and vibrant vocal harmonies.
